Funny Zeke

The other day I went into the boys room to get them ready for bed and they were hiding behind the curtain. I said, "Oh no, I'm all by myself." They shuffled and I said, "I think I hear a mouse!" Then Zeke said, "squeak, squeak." I just bust up laughing and they came out. Where does a 2-year old come up with that?

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there! Here's a Mother's Day picture of me and the 3 little blessings that made me a mother. I love them so much! (Poor Keilah really needed a nap though, so that's why she looks tired.)

I should also mention my wonderful mothers. My mom who sacrificed so much to try and take care of us and teach us, my step-mom who has been like a mom in every way and was a strength through those awkward teen years, and my mother-in-law who is a great example of love, generosity, and strength. LOVE YOU MOMS!

Silas's Hula

Silas's school had a big May Day celebration this morning. So here he is with his kindergarten class performing "May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii". He's a little distracted by the video camera, and he can't wait to be done, but it's cute nonetheless.

Sick, sick, and sick

No pictures to post with this one. Who wants to see baby Keilah with snot running down her face, Zeke red in the face from a high fever and Silas bent over with a barking cough? Silas was sick ALL WEEK with full blown flu symptoms, then Zeke caught on by Friday. Fortunately Zeke seems to have a milder case and Keilah seems to only have the runny nose and a very mild fever. Thank God for small blessings!! Of course, all of this means NO sleep for me. :( Yes, I seek pity. :)

Happy (belated) Easter to everyone. We remember Christ's resurrection this day, and I'm grateful that because of His sacrifice I can be with my family forever.

Keilah LOVES to talk to people. The doctor and nurses were all impressed with how advanced she is vocally. So here's a small sample of her talent. I tried to get some better footage, but she clams up whenever she sees the camera.
