Happy New Year. We saw lots of fireworks from our driveway before going to bed at a decent hour. Today we went to the Bishop Museum. They have a lot of exhibits on Hawaiian history and culture as well as interactive displays on volcanoes. We caught the last weekend of their rotating exhibit on Dinosaurs. This T-Rex actually moved and growled!
Silas loved it, but their robotic dinosaurs' movements and sounds were a little too realistic for Ezekiel and he couldn't wait to get out of there after the first few displays. Some Japanese tourists asked if they could take pictures of Keilah because she was so cute.
It was the most interesting dinosaur exhibit I've ever seen. They had the robotic dinosaurs as well as real bones and a table where kids could use brushes to uncover their own dinosaur. FUN!
